_It is always exciting to watch something go from 'could be better' to 'wow!' especially in only an hour. Here are a few new makeover TV shows that have recently debuted:

There are two new hotel makeover shows that came out in 2012. Hotel Hell debuted in August 2012 on the Fox Network. This New Show is Gordon Ramsay’s fourth series that airs on Fox. The concept comes from another show created by Ramsay, Kitchen Nightmares, where he finds unkempt restaurants to clean up and whip into shape. In Hotel Hell, Ramsay goes on a search for some of the worst looking and poorly run hotels in the country. Having numerous restaurants in hotels all over the world, Ramsay's standards are quite high. He knows what looks good and how to make things run smooth. Decor will be changed, hotel owners and staff are educated, and menus are revamped all in an episode of Hotel Hell.

The other hotel makeover show that launched in 2012 is Hotel Impossible. Anthony Melchiorri hosts this New Show on the Travel Channel and is great at what he does. Melchiorri has been in the hotel management business the majority of his career. Where Gordon Ramsay has experience making over hotels from just being around them all the time, Anthony Melchiorri has been making over many big name hotels for decades. He knows exactly what to hone in on to improve the food, staff, and furnishings of these struggling hotels. Hotel Impossible may not have the drama Gordon Ramsay provides in Hotel Hell but it brings a more professional view to the hotel makeover scene.

The Vanilla Ice Project is a New Show on the DIY Network hosted by none other than Vanilla Ice. This reality show focuses on renovating a house. Vanilla Ice has had experience buy and flipping houses for many years starting when he was in his 20's. Around 1998 he began to direct his attention towards home renovation and has become quite a capable handyman. Instead of spending only one episode on one house and quickly going from start to finish in one hour, The Vanilla Ice Project renovates one house per season, focusing on one room per episode. By the end of the season the house has been completely made over and is ready to be put up for sale. This is a great show to watch to see all the newest and state-of-the-art improvements that are to be made to make your house up-to-date.

There is a new personal image makeover show that airs on ABC called Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. It is the second spinoff from the original Extreme Makeover show where someone was completely transformed using plastic surgery. From there Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was created where someone's home was made over and renovated. Then in 2011 Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition was produced. This New Show documents one overweight participant going through a yearlong journey to not only lose weight but to also transform their lifestyle. At the end of the year trainer/host Chris Powell has successfully reshaped the bodies and lives of the eight individuals.
